Florida has one of the highest prison populations in the country as well as a high recidivism rate. Reforms to the criminal justice system inevitably improve public safety. Florida must consider taking the next steps to improve the following: sentencing reform, diversion programs, job re-entry programs and training, and housing post-incarceration
